Amorphous E-Core Series
Amorphous E-Cores for Compact and Efficient Transformer Designs
POURLEROI’s amorphous E-cores offer a powerful combination of high magnetic performance and mechanical compatibility. Manufactured from non-crystalline Fe-based alloys, these cores provide ultra-low core losses and high saturation flux density. Their E-core geometry makes them ideal for high-frequency transformers, power inductors, and EMI filters in compact electronic systems.
What Are Amorphous E-Cores?
Amorphous E-cores are magnetic cores made from amorphous alloy ribbons and shaped into the classic E-I or E-E format. The E-core configuration offers easy coil assembly and integration into transformer bobbins or PCB-mounted structures. Compared with silicon steel or ferrite E-cores, amorphous E-cores provide significantly lower core loss and better high-frequency response, making them ideal for energy-efficient power conversion systems.Product Overview
POURLEROI’s amorphous E-cores are produced using advanced slitting, stacking, and annealing technologies to ensure uniform magnetic performance and structural precision. These cores exhibit saturation flux densities around 1.56 Tesla and operate efficiently under both high frequency and high thermal stress conditions.Their geometry supports compact winding with low leakage, and the open E-I structure allows for easy gap adjustment, which is essential for inductors and flyback transformer designs. Our E-cores are available with or without center leg gaps and with optional epoxy, polyester, or customized insulation coatings.
Amorphous E-cores are ideal for power transformers, resonant inductors, and filter chokes in EV chargers, solar inverters, UPS systems, and high-frequency AC-DC converters. We offer both standard sizes and OEM-specific dimensions, with tight tolerances and ISO9001-certified production processes.
