What Are Iron Silicon Cores?
Iron silicon cores, also referred to as silicon steel cores or electrical steel cores, are made by alloying iron with silicon to improve electrical resistivity and reduce magnetic losses. These cores are typically manufactured using cold-rolled grain-oriented (CRGO) or non-oriented (CRNGO) silicon steel sheets or ribbons. With high permeability and reduced eddy current formation, iron silicon cores are widely used in transformers, inductors, and power conditioning systems that require efficiency, temperature resilience, and electromagnetic stability.Product Overview
